Author Katie Loeb Wins National Bartending Competition

Katie Loeb, author of Shake, Stir, Pour-Fresh Homegrown Cocktails , was named the grand prize winner of the Barenjager Bartender Competition September 11 in New York.

Sponsored by Barenjager Honey Liqueur, the third annual competition named Katie, who hails from Philadelphia, as the Queen Bee (she's the first female to win). Loeb’s cocktail, the Barenberry Mule, won first prize in a competition that received more than 400 submissions from across the country.
